My story

I grew up in a creative house with my photographer father and a graphic designer mother.

Both always encouraged me to try new things, to be different, and care about the client experience.

17 years into Jazzy Photography, I still carry these elements with me in my business and sessions.

I have a degree in Primary Education, and with three little ones of my own.

Family and children are important to me.

I've been photographing families since the beginning, bringing out the best in children and their parents.

My entire experience revolves around children, family, and photography

I have a lifetime of experience with children.

I grew up with younger siblings, and babysat many families all the way through high school.

While studying for my bachelor's degree, I was a nanny and was photographing for magazines.

I taught kindergarten through to Year 6 for over 6 years.

During the time I learned that children need to feel safe and secure in order to let down their guard.

Every child is unique and different and it’s up to me as a photographer to help them feel comfortable.

In my 16 years as a photographer, I have seen kids walk into the studio like they own the place, and others take a while to warm up.

Whichever personality they are, I'm trained to work with it, to engage and embrace them for who they are, and capture their natural spirit.
