The 20th of August marks a year since we met the super talented Josh Saliba, from Saliba Estate Agents. Saliba Estate Agents are a group specialising in residential selling, leasing and property management as well as a broad range of other Real Estate related services. His many years of experience in the Real Estate industry has meant establishing his brand from the knowledge and expertise in the community as well as having the genuine insight to meet the requirements and needs of his clients moving to the local area.

Josh Saliba came to the studio to feature Jazzy Photography on his podcast ‘Everything Local’ in 2019. The series he has created is a really wonderful community initiative, meeting with local businesses and entrepreneurs from the Pennant Hills area, to give them a spotlight to talk about what sets them apart in the industry.

Our discussion was around my personal experience with Photography, starting with how I grew up in the photographic industry through to juggling my business as a mum with very young children.

Business Photography

I had met Josh while he was working in an earlier Real estate agency and then had the pleasure of shooting the head shots for his new company Saliba Estate Agents. Josh’s knowledge and understanding of the area we live and work in is remarkable as he takes time to listen to others and genuinely get to know the community of people around him.

Being a relatively new resident to the area and bringing my business here, it was such a unique way to reach out to locals through his impressive following.

Since starting Saliba Estate Agents, Josh’s blogs and podcasts have continued, highlighting a new business on a regular basis; allowing people from all different industries including construction, beauty, homewares, the rural fire brigade and more to have their say. Most recently his interviews have considered the effects of Covid-19 on small businesses and how they are combatting the many obstacles to stay afloat.

Josh’s approach to content for his podcast is inspiring, using local people and creating a voice for all of us small business owners.

Josh isn’t on his own though and has an incredible team behind him including sales representatives, a property manager and an operations and marketing manager. Josh, Sarah, Jasmine, and Justin have brought their idea to life and set themselves apart from other similar services. Understanding the local area is one of their key values. By supporting and promoting local businesses they are ensuring they are are in tune with the community and have a greater depth of knowledge, ensuring the best possible service and information for their clients.

It doesn’t stop there! Not only is the business very locally orientated they’re also dedicated to respecting and protecting the environment. Choosing to save on paper printing, Josh and his team are keen to use digital methods instead. Welcoming new suggestions to further their environmental achievements, allows the team to connect with locals and take on board their individual values on the issue.
