Welcome to Jazzy Photography

Jazzy Photography is a Photography Studio in Pennant Hills. During summer, my family and I love to spend time in Nelson bay each year and often I see other families on holidays at this beautiful location and wish that I could photograph these memories for them! This year I’ve decided to open up sessions to other families during their holidays to capture these special moments.
Sessions are either in the early morning at around 7:00am OR late afternoon at around 6:00pm

Nelson Bay/Shoal Bay Mini sessions - $250

• A 20 minute beach mini session.

• A Private and secure online viewing gallery

• 5 High quality digital files

  (Total value worth over = $890)

The above session fee is payable at booking and then products are purchased from the website gallery once you have seen your photos. A voucher code will be sent for the 5 digital download. Sessions will be either postponed or refunded if weather is not good. Digitals will be ready within 4 weeks.

How do I book?

Who is Jazzy Photography?

Hi! I’m Jasmin! I’m a trained professional photographer and I have over 20 years experience. I have three awesome kiddies - who all behave very differently when a camera is in front of them! We moved to Pennant Hills from the Inner West about 7 years ago and built a customised studio for maternity, newborn and family photography. I’m accredited with the ANP, am an award winning photographer and have a huge amount of experience working with families, and young children.
We always have a lot of fun and I’m incredibly flexible with many different personalities.
Above everything, I capture you all as you are in a moment in time.

FAQs

What Covid Precautions is your studio taking?
Jazzy Photography takes health and safety seriously. We have an updated Covid safety plan in place and will notify clients if I am unwell.

Can I purchase more digital files?
Yes. When you view your gallery, you will be able to easily purchase and download extra digital files, prints and many other products on offer. You can also easily share the link with grandparents and other loved ones for them to easily purchase too.

Is there any catch or pressure to purchase any more than this offer?
No way! If you are just wanting your Nelson Bay family special, you can download the 5 images directly - Thats it!
As a professional studio, it’s important that our clients know about the full, high quality printing experience that we can provide.

What happens if my child or I am sick on the day and have to cancel?
Unfortunately as I see other clients and my own family members each day, I do request that you cancel if you are unwell. This may mean that you miss out on your session if you are only in Nelson Bay for a few days.

I am happy to then swap your session for a Studio session back in Sydney OR hold it for the following year in Nelson Bay OR refund you.

What happens if my child is camera shy and doesn’t want to smile?
I have a few tricks up my sleeve and do my best to engage and connect with your child as soon as we are in each other’s company. I have over 20 years experience photographing children, am a fully trained and experienced Primary School Teacher and have three of my own kids, so I come with a lot of empathy and understanding of the needs of young ones (and their dads) =). In saying this, any help mum and dad can offer is always helpful. This will start with filling out the questionnaire with information about your kids, what makes them happy, favourites songs..etc. It’s also helpful for me to know if they have any challeges either physically or emotionally. I also have some videos on my Home page and family page of this website that you can show to your children so they can see the studio, my face and feel like they know me a little. Remember though, this session is a ‘moment in time’, no matter what happens, we are capturing your family as you are in this moment together. If it is one of ‘THOSE’ days well then you are going to have some great photos for the 21st birthday!

How long will I wait for photos and prints after the session?
Your photos will be ready within 4 weeks after your session. You will be given 2 weeks to order your prints and products and most products will take around *3-4 weeks to arrive after you have made your choice.
If you wish to have any other print products - Albums, Canvases, frames, acrylic blocks or prints, these will take between *4-6 weeks to arrive back to the studio for pick up. Wood prints and canvases are faster than frames and albums.

What is an ‘Archival Print’
An archival print means that the print has been created using inks that will not fade or discolour over time, and paper stock that is emulsion free so that it too will not fade or discolour. In a nutshell, an archival print is built to last for generations at the same image and colour integrity, if cared for!

What happens if its forcast to rain or be too windy?
We will touch base coming up to your session and will postpone to another day if the weather isn’t great. If you are leaving Nelson Bay and we can’t postpone to an availble time then I will either: refund your money OR honour your a studio session in Pennant Hills.

Do you have an overview of product/digital prices before we book?
Yes. Here are my main three packages! More products are availble through the shopping cart in the gallery and range in pricing.
Please note that although the below pacakges look structured, you are most welcome to swap out the products. Instead, when shopping in the gallery shop, you can spend on any other products and if your spend comes to $990 then you will also receive 10 digitals. So the below spend will give you the amount in any products + this amount in digitals, which gives you flexibility to ensure you have all that you need from your session.
