Welcome to Jazzy Photography

Jazzy Photography is a Photography Studio on Yarrara Road, in Pennant Hills. We are a short walk from Thornleigh Station and Monday Morning Cafe. To find out more about Photographer Jasmin, our studio and our services, please read on or take a look at our website.

The Session fee is 100% profit to Pennant Hills Preschool.
An additional 5% is donated from any purchase of digital files or print products.

The above session fee is payable at booking and then products are purchased from the website gallery once you have seen your photos.

How do I book?

Mini Sessions will be run on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of September 2024. Booking times are strict and it is advised that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your session. Who is Jazzy Photography?

Hi! I’m Jasmin! I’m a trained professional photographer and I have been running my business for over 19 years, with at least 8 years experience prior to that. I have three awesome kiddies - who all behave very differently when a camera is in front of them! We moved to Pennant Hills from the Inner West about 6 years ago and built a customised studio for maternity, newborn and family photography. I’m accredited with the ANP, am an award winning photographer both nationally and internationally and have a huge amount of experience working with families, and young children.
We always have a lot of fun and I’m incredibly flexible with many different personalities.
Above everything, I capture you all as you are in a moment in time.

FAQs

What Covid Precautions is your studio taking?
Jazzy Photography takes health and safety seriously. We have an updated Covid safety plan in place and have each client signing a contract before entering arriving to the studio. I am double vaccinated.

We regularly check with Service NSW on the rules and regulations. Given the Covid conditions and mandates at the time of these sessions, vaccinations/eligibilities may be checked on arrival and families are only limited to 8 people. All mini sessions will be booked 10 minutes apart to give us time to sanitise the space in between each family. Here is a link to our Covid overview and more information on mask wear, checking in and what you can bring to the studio will be itemised in correspondence prior to attendance.

Please note that given the flexibility of our climate, plans and procedures are subject to change. You will be notified of any requirements affecting you prior to your session and in the case of illness or lockdown, you will be offered a rescheduled time or a refund.

Can I purchase more digital files?
Yes. When you view your gallery, you will be able to easily purchase and download extra digital files, prints and many other products on offer. You can also easily share the link with grandparents and other loved ones for them to easily purchase too.

Is there any catch or pressure to purchase any more than this offer?
No way! If you are just wanting your school family special, you can download the image directly - Thats it!
As a professional studio, it’s important that our clients know about the full, high quality printing experience that we can provide and at these prices, it’s worth raising some more money for your preschool while purchasing some gifts for Mother’s Day, grandparents and Christmas at the same time. What happens if my child or I am sick on the day and have to cancel?
Please do!
Due to Covid safety requirements, you are requested to cancel if you or attendees are unwell. I will honour your purchase by organising another session at the next mutually available time within 2 weeks.

What happens if my child is camera shy and doesn’t want to smile?
I have a few tricks up my sleeve and do my best to engage and connect with your child as soon as you all enter the space. If you think your little one may feel a little shy, feel free to contact me for a chat and I can give you some ideas for preparing them for the session. I also have some videos on my Home page and family page of this website that you can show to your children so they can see the studio, my face and feel like they know me a little. As much as I do try my little tricks, I never force children to do things they aren’t comfortable to do and will always follow theirs and your lead. Remember, this session is a ‘moment in time’, no matter what happens, we are capturing your family as you are in this moment together. If it is one of ‘THOSE’ days well then you are going to have some great photos for the 21st birthday!

How long will I wait for photos and prints after the session?
Your photos will be ready within 2-3 weeks after your session. You will be given 2 weeks to order your prints and products and most products will take around *3-4 weeks to arrive after you have made your choice.
If you wish to have any other print products - Albums, Canvases, frames, acrylic blocks or prints, these will take between *4-6 weeks to arrive back to the studio for pick up. Wood prints and canvases are faster than frames and albums.

Can we have photos outdoors?
The session is designed for your preschool is a studio session. We find this best to ensure all families have consistency of quality and image as well as reliability that we can go ahead on the day, despite weather.

What is an ‘Archival Print’
An archival print means that the print has been created using inks that will not fade or discolour over time, and paper stock that is emulsion free so that it too will not fade or discolour. In a nutshell, an archival print is built to last for generations at the same image and colour integrity, if cared for!

Do you have an overview of product/digital prices before we book?
Yes. Here they are! More products are available but regular studio prices must apply.
Remember that these prices are designed specifically for Preschool Mini sessions are are discounted from our usual prices - just for you!
