Lock Down Photo Challenge - #5

Bringing it all together to tell a story!

Now it’s time to bring all the elements together that you have learnt to tell a story of your subject for your viewer. From now on, you will be thinking about your subject, how they are feeling and what you want your viewer to feel through your image.

CHALLENGE!

It’s your turn!!!!

Your final mission is to tell a story in three photos!
Choose a different subject to anything you have used for the other challenges.

Each photo has to have a different camera angle/shot and different lighting. Think of the first photo as the beginning of your story. The second photo is the middle of your story and the final image is the end of your story.

Once you have done this, ask a parent/carer to upload all your 3 photos to our Facebook page in the comments under today’s challenge so I can see what you have created!

Make sure they type your first name and age: e.g Photographer - Jack (8yo).

HAVE FUN!!!!

Have you ever created a Stop Motion Animation?

It is so much fun!

You can use all the elements you have been learning this week to create your own stop motion using your camera.

It’s best to use a stop motion app to join all your photos together at the end so you don’t have to do this yourself. The key is keeping your camera completely still and not moving it at all when you take the photo. You move your subject a tiny bit then take a photo, then move them again and take another photo!

It takes a long time but the results are so cool - especially when you use your imagination and think beyond the walls of the world as we know it! Here is a link to get you started!

Check out this awesome stop motion video below!

What do you think of it?

What is your favourite part?

Do you think they used their creativity?

Why or why not?

Would you love to learn more?

I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for Joining us!
